We are easily accessible by public transportation, and we also provide transportation services for clients in our Partial Care and Intensive Outpatient Programs. Absolutely, we accept a wide range of insurance plans.  We are in-network with major providers like Aetna, Ameri-group, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Horizon NJ Health, Tricare, United Healthcare, Wellcare, and NJ Medicaid. We also take plans that have out-of-network benefits. If you're unsure about your coverage, just give us a call, and we'll gladly help verify your insurance benefits.

Absolutely. Recovery is a journey, and your needs might shift along the way. We check in on your progress often and tweak your treatment plan as needed, including moving you between programs to make sure you get the right level of care.
No, our programs are specifically designed for adults. We offer treatment services exclusively to clients who are 18 years of age and older.
Phoenix Behavioral Health is fully licensed and accredited to provide all levels of outpatient, intensive outpatient, and partial care treatment through the NJ Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services. Additionally, all our programs are accredited by the Joint Commission (TJC), which is the industry gold standard for quality care.
We believe there is no wrong door to treatment. Our approach is centered on providing client-focused, high-quality care. We use a variety of evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Positive Psychology, and Motivational Interviewing. We also provide Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) options such as Suboxone and Vivitrol, which are included in our comprehensive substance use treatment protocol. Our goal is to ensure each individual receives the personalized care they need to really thrive.
